Is Outguess free?
Yes. The daily, the puzzle of the day and the gauntlet play free in the browser with no account. The app is free and has no ads; Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, that unlocks the full analysis, the archive, all 900 puzzles with hints and statistics. It is not shared through Family Sharing.
Do I need an account?
No. Your web progress stays in this browser, and the app has no sign-in either: your progress stays on your phone.
When does the daily reset?
At 00:00 UTC — the same moment for everyone in the world. Earlier boards live in the app archive.
Is there luck involved?
No dice. In the daily, the puzzles and against the built-in rivals both hands are open, so every position has an exact best line. The daily has exactly one best order and every puzzle is a verified forced win. Only friend rooms hide hands by default, and that reading game is the point.
Do cards have special effects? Do players take turns?
Neither. Cards have no other effects: only element and number. Both players pick a card at the same time; the cards flip together, there are no turns. Same element and same number is a draw; the round goes to no one.
Where can I play?
Right here in any browser, phone or desktop. The Outguess app is on the App Store and Google Play too.
Is it colour-blind friendly?
Yes. Right and wrong always carry a ✓ or ✕ beside the colour, shared grids included, and a blue/orange high-contrast palette follows your system setting on the web and the Settings toggle in the app.
Is this gambling?
No. There is nothing to bet and nothing to win but a better read: no card packs, no loot boxes, no second currency, no real-money prizes. The only purchase is the one-time Pro unlock.
Where do the puzzles come from?
From the game's exact solver. It walks every position of the match, keeps only forced wins and verifies each one again before it ships.
